The World’s First Tesla Cybertruck Police Vehicle Is Coming Soon

UP.FIT has unveiled the world’s first Cybertruck Next-Gen police vehicle. Not only does it look incredible, it has the performance to match. UP.FIT says it does 0-60 in 2.6 seconds, which indicates that it’s based on the Cyberbeast that sports 845 hp and 10,296 lb-ft of torque. Additionally, UP.FIT says the Patrol Cybertruck is the most ballistics capable patrol vehicle in its lineup and it’s the best patrol vehicle for rural and rugged terrain. Deliveries of the truck will begin as early as late 2024.

The Cybertruck merges Tesla’s electric vehicle technology with Unplugged Performance’s adeptness in vehicle modification and adaptation.

Tailored For Deployment To Public Safety Authorities

UP.FIT is a division of Unplugged Performance and it’s recognized as the global leader in upfitting Tesla vehicles for fleet applications. The company’s Patrol models include Model 3, Y, S, X, and Cybertruck. The Tesla Cybertruck Patrol vehicle is tailored for deployment by public safety authorities worldwide. Examples: police, fire departments, military, and tactical response units. On-Road Capabilities Akin To A Sports Car

The UP.FIT Tesla Cybertruck Next-Gen Patrol vehicle has sparked significant interest among agencies nationwide aiming to bolster their patrol capabilities, according to the company. The fusion of a stainless steel exoskeleton, high-performance on-road capabilities akin to sports cars, and cutting-edge safety technologies has proven attractive to fleet operators globally. The Cybertruck merges Tesla’s electric vehicle technology with Unplugged Performance’s adeptness in vehicle modification and adaptation. This provides a comprehensive turn-key solution tailored to police department requirements. It includes the standard array of warning lights, sirens, and PA system, along with enhanced radio and computer systems facilitated by specialized wiring and proprietary integrations.

Furthermore, the UP.FIT Cybertruck is adaptable for tactical, military, or search and rescue missions, with options for prisoner partitions, storage for weaponry and specialized tools, and K9 enclosures. Additionally, upgraded vehicle dynamics via specialized UP.FIT forged wheel and tire packages, braking systems, and optional enhancements for extreme off-road use. Even Starlink internet connectivity.

Rear-facing warning lights are standard.

Exterior Features

Exterior features of the UP.FIT Cybertruck include 18-inch forged wheels that provide enhanced durability and strength. The vehicles also come equipped with a custom-integrated high and low-frequency siren system for clear communication during emergencies. On the roof, a lightbar with color warning lights and scene lighting is installed. On the side of the vehicle are custom-engineered side-skirt color warning lights and scene lighting. Rear fender color warning lights, rear-facing warning lights, and department-specific livery and graphics with conspicuous markings are also included.

Additionally, there are optional features such as a front-mounted push bar, bumper guard, and multi-angle warning lights to improve functionality and appearance.

A 21-button and toggle switch lights and siren controller sits within easy reach of the driver.

Interior Features

Inside, the UP.FIT Cybertruck has a Comfort Center Console with integrated controls that serves as a central hub for vehicle operations. Additionally, a 21-button and toggle switch lights and siren controller is provided, fully customizable to suit specific needs. For added functionality, there’s a remote fender-spotlight controller. Also included is an UP.FIT wiring package and testing & validation services.

To maintain operational readiness, UP.FIT offers “InsomniaMode,” ensuring continuous system functionality around the clock. And the installation of Whelen Core lights and siren computer, along with programming services, enhances emergency response capabilities.

Heavy-Duty Patrol Option

The UP.FIT Cybertruck can be ordered with a Heavy-Duty Patrol Option. It includes a center console featuring a T-rail mounting system and a laptop/MDT mount. Also, discreetly placed communication antennas that provide optimal performance without compromising aesthetics. Additionally, the front driver and passenger areas are equipped with switchable red/white lighting for improved visibility and functionality.

Furthermore, the Heavy-Duty Patrol Option includes front compartment-mounted shotgun and rifle mounts, a rear seat prisoner partition, and preparation for Motorola radio installation. High-power radio readiness and compliance testing ensure seamless communication. In the rear cargo area, red/white switchable lighting enhances visibility and operational efficiency.

Deliveries of the UP.FIT Cybertruck police vehicle are expected to begin as early as late 2024.

Other Options And Availability

There are also several other options for the UP.FIT Cybertruck. They include a Pursuit Performance Package, an exterior window guard. Additionally, a Supervisor Package, Offroad Package, NIJ Level 3 ballistics protection, and more.
