The 2024 Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid is getting a Nightshade Special Edition. This news caught our attention because Toyota’s Nightshade is an eye-catching package, and we think it complements the company’s Corolla Cross Hybrid CUV quite well. We’re always happy to see a cool electrified vehicle.

Here’s the Bits of the Nightshade Special Edition

The Nightshade Special Edition is a package that includes several interior and exterior tweaks. For the Corolla Cross Hybrid the package is based on the SE grade. It includes 18-inch gloss black sport alloy wheels, black accented head and taillamps, blacked out badges, black outside door handles and mirrors, and an integrated rear lip spoiler. The package also includes three “chic” paint options. There’s Jet Black, Barcelona Red with Jet Black Roof, or Celestite Gray with Jet Black Roof. On the inside you’ll find a black and red fabric-trimmed interior with red accent stitching.

About the 2024 Corolla Cross Hybrid

The 2024 Corolla Cross Hybrid uses Toyota’s fifth-generation hybrid system. This system includes a permanent magnet synchronous motor that makes 151.94 lb-ft of torque and a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. This results in 196 hp, a 0-60 mph time of 8 seconds, and a manufacturer-estimated 42 mpg combined. Furthermore, the CUV has a 1,500-pound towing capacity and 21.5 feet of cargo space with the rear seats up. And if the terrain you travel isn’t always solid and flat, the SUV has 8 inches of ground clearance and electronic on-demand AWD is standard. Also standard: a roof rack, wireless charging, standard carpet floormats, and a frameless HomeLink rearview mirror.
